Pepper Steak Meat, Thinly Sliced
1/2 Red Pepper
1/2 Green Pepper
2 Minced Garlic Cloves
2 tbs Soy Sauce
2 tbs Sherry Wine
2 tbs Canola Oil
Toasted Sesame Oil
Add 1 tbs of oil to wok and sauté onion until translucent, about 6 minutes.
Add peppers, garlic, 1 tbs soy sauce, and 1 tbs sherry wine to wok and sauté 10 minutes or until done. The peppers should be cooked, but still have a little bite.
Transfer veggies to a bowl. Pat down the meat with a paper towel to absorb moisture. Season with salt and pepper.
Add meat to the wok with 1 tbs oil and cook till meat is half done, about 5 minutes. Pepper steak meat is thin so you want to be careful not to overcook it.
Add the veggies back into the pan along with 1 tbs soy sauce and 1 tbs sherry wine.
Once the juices have reduced to a thicker sauce, add a dash of toasted sesame oil and sesame seeds. Toss it all together and serve with rice!
