2 Large Yellow Onions
2 tbs Canola Oil
2 tsp Kosher Salt
Slice onions the same way you would to make onion rings. Then slice them across to make two ‘c’ shapes. If you prefer diced onions, then keep chopping.
In a frying pan add onions, oil and salt. Turn up the flame to high heat and toss it all together.
Once the onions become translucent, bring the heat down to medium.
When they start to turn golden brown (after about 20 minutes), bring the heat down to a simmer until they are as dark as you like them.
Serve over anything, and enjoy!
